How much will it cost to get rip out a 3m by 1.5m (APPROXIMATELY..This is only off the top of my head). I dunno what its made out of :S But its not brick or anything,

LOL sorry i cant be more specific, I dont know much about building and stuff..

But yeah, Its like, a normal wall about 3m by 1.5m and Im planning on ripping it out to make a room bigger.

I just wanted to know approxiately how much it would cost, including replastering, and repainting.

ALSO,

How much if i ripped out a 3m x 3.5m wall, with a 2m by .5m cuboard attached to cost?

Including replastering and repainting.

( Same wall, just wondering how much it would cost to remove ALL of that wall )

*and Removing the bit of wall with the cupboard attached sounds a bit complicated and costly i thort, so im not sure if im going to do that.. Whats your opinon?

Thanx xx :]

  1. You must first determine if it  is a "load bearing" wall. This type wall is the support for the ceiling and everything above it.

  2. if you're doing the work, yourself, and it's not a load-bearing wall (note, you should get a permit if you're moving a wall, i never do though), the materials to redo the wall are not costly, maybe around $150 for drywall, spackle, screws, paint, etc.

removing a cupboard is no big deal, just find out how it's attached or just start prying.

if you were paying someone to do it, i would suspect one day to demolish, one or two to install the wall, and several half-days to spackle and paint. $1000 maybe
