How much to repair...?

i was backing out of the garage today while going to work...because i wasn't paying attention...the outside mirror on the driver's side hit the wall and broke...the mirror and the mount are broken....

would a dealership be able to fix it...and how much would it cost?

i have a 99 mazda 626

and if they can't fix it what are my other options

  1. It is repairable.

    Get some quotes, many auto glass places also do this sort of repair.

    It will probably be over $200- depending on if there was any damage to the structure of the car, or if it was just the mirror.  It will also depend on if the mirror is remotely adjustable, powered or fixed.


  2. im not sure but you can go to ebay.com or mazdausa.com they are both good and reliable websites.

  3. yes it can be fixed about an hours labor most garages charge $60-80 an hour plus parts. a mirror can be bought on ebay for $35 shipped

  4. the part alone should be a hundred and 1/2 at least, plus installation, you're looking at a few hundred dollars IMO
