I want an XPS desktop that can play high end games and such, so I'm selling my old one on a local online listing (kijiji). The specs are

250GB SATA hard drive

1 GB DDR2 memory

DVD dual drive

2.8 GHz 820 Intel Pentium D processor

WIndows Vista Home premium

Microsoft office 2003

ATI Radeon Xpress 200

How much should I sell this for with basic keyboard, moue, and speakers?

  1. with no monitor thats worth 125-175 at most, you can get a dual core computer with a monitor for around 400 from stores like walmart

  2. The software is the most valuable part of that rig. If you sell it with the OS and office discs and keys for each should get around 350 for it.

The Vista costs 120 and even a used version of Office 2003 Pro is fetching about 125 on Ebay.

  3. You have to take into account one thing that is, nowaday, the cost of PC has come down to a great extent.  For assembling a new computer with a high end configuration, it comes around Rs.22,000/-. If you wish to sell the Computer the moment it is assembled, it cannot  definitely be sold at the actual cost of assembling. You can browse the Yellos Pages wherein, so many advertisements will appear to take back the old ones whether in condition, or not. By contacting them, you can sell yours. If you have a bill, you can sure of disposing it off, even then, not to the exact cost.  It is better to contact the person from whom you have assembled or purchased.

  4. including vista cd and all i think 350 to 450ish...

depends on how old the comp is...

  5. $350 - $450
