How much to tip a justice of the peace?

We are getting married by a Justice of the Peace in our honeymoon cabin. The ceremony is only costing us $100 . The only people present at the ceremony will be the bride, groom, JP, and photographer. How much should we tip the JP? and should we tip the photographer as well? thanks

  1. WE got married by the JP back in 2005. He charged $75. We tiped him $5. The only reason he got that was because we didn't have change. I feel as thought he did need one. I could see it he were a minister of a church and I knew the money was going to it. Do what you feel comfortable with. I would tip the photographer.

  5. Its usually on the paperwork. Its anywhere from 25 to 75. But the least you tip is 25. Look over your paperwork its on there.
