If my kids are at home during the day, it means they are sick, or it's a vacation day from school.  If that is the case, I don't put any limit on the amount of TV they watch.

But on a "normal" school day, they watch about an hour total.  On weekends, they watch about 2 or 3 hours, because we will usually get a movie from Netflix in addition to watching a regular show or two.

The tv is on most of the day. The time that they actually watch probably totals 1 1/2 hours.

Im a nanny and I dont have kids of my own but the kids I watch are aloud 1 movie aday and thats it, unless they are sick
