  1. as long as you return before the passport expires there should be no problems....x

  2. Some countries want 6 months, I went to Spain in May 2005, passport expired Oct 2005, they let me in but did make a ;point of telling me it should be renewed. You CAN renew early, and the passport will be valid for more than the usual 10 years to allow for the unused part of your current one.

  3. Double check with the company you booked with but most places prefer you to have 6 months minimum left to travel. You could get a passport before you go if you use the fast track service

  4. you need a clear 6 months on your passport.i have just returned from lanzarote and i had to renew my passport because there was only 4 months validity on it.they added that onto my new passport making it 10 years and 4 months.hope you get it sorted and that you have a great holiday.weather is brill by the way.

  5. You should be ok.  I think its ok if its just for a holiday.

If you are going  working unfortunately you will not be able to go as your passport has to be valid for a year after u return...

  6. Lanzarote is in the EU.  You only need your passport as ID, so validity is irrelevant.
