  1. it is very vital since it is short term trading. this may not be as hard as it looks though. learning simple things like how to read the 200 simple moving average will put you far ahead of most traders. here is a great guide that has 3 swing trading setups and why they work. its a great guide to get started http://www.squidoo.com/swing-trading-tutorial
