I have seen these types of stun guns used not only on the WTXF-TV program "Cops" on Saturday nights from 8-9 pm but also on the MyPHL17 show "Jail"

I used to have a stun gun and it was 300,000 volts.. they vary from different kinds. Im sure the ones that the police use is really strong

The voltage doesn't really affect the strength all that much. What makes more of a difference is the maximum current, the pulse width, and the pulse repetition rate.
