How much was it to preserve a wedding dress??

My sister just got me a gift certificate for gown preservation.  It cost $180....not too cheap.

I really do not know, But a peice of advice . there was a report here on TV that a great many places that preserve wedding dress's actuculla steal them and subitue them with other material in the box.make sure if you do that the box has a window to see inside.

Here's the link to a site where you can order the gown preservation kit online for $149.95.  They will mail you a box to send your gown to them along with instructions and will send you back the preserved gown in a few weeks.

You can also check with your local dry cleaners who usually have specialists who preserve gowns.  I'm not sure of the cost to have it done locally.
