How much was money worth in 1977?

I need to know how much things would have cost (in the UK) in 1977.

Things like a mid-range tailored suit, a large whisky, a 12" record, a cinema ticket, a pint of milk...

Or if no-one can help, do you know of any websites that might be of use?
