  1. The average water tower capacity throughout the entire county would be an incredible feat of statistics and math.  Most of it depends on size.  If your in a small community then you are most likely looking at about a five hundred thousand gallon water tank.  In a really small community maybe two hundred fifty thousand gallons.  Some of the bigger water districts regularly put up one or two million gallon tanks up to some three and six million gallon tanks.  The smallest ones you will see ar maybe ten or fifteen thousand gallons and some of the biggest tanks will be what are called flat bottom or ground storage tanks which can get up to thirty plus million gallons.  If you have any more questions you can visit my blog at  freemoneyjakass.blogspot.com and leave me a post or drop me an email
