  1. 30,000,000,000 cup a day... just joking

    8 or 9 cups a day

  2. drink around a gallon of water. or at least:P

  3. Well, those that subscribe to it, suggest that a normal adult should consume three liters a day...keeps you from retaining water, flushes bad stuff from your system and helps control weight. At your height you could handle a few more pounds (in the right places). If you do take on the practice, do ensure you are also taking a good multi-vitamin and mineral supplement daily...because they get flushed too.

  4. drink half a gallon to a gallon but it has to be good water.....

drinking from a plastic container is very bad....tap is bad too

get a distiller ranges from 200 to 400 for a non commercial distiller....that will take all the bad stuff out of the water......it also takes out essential minerals too......get some green juice in you to balance that out

  5. 8 glases or 2 liters the more the better. Try adding a twist of lemon or lime juice if you find it's a struggle to drink it all.

  6. In order to find out how much water you drink, you need to divide your weight by 2 and the result should be drank in ounces through out the day.

Let me explain: If you weigh 100 pounds divide it by 2 equal 50. So that means you should drink 50 ounces of water per day.

  7. take your body weight in pounds, devide it by two and that is how many ounces of liquid you need a day.  At least half of that should be water and if you drink a caffeine drink add the ounces of that back into how much you have left to drink

  8. at least 6 to 8 cups.

  9. half ur body weight in ounces.

    soooooo.....

    49 oz of water.

  10. For proper hydration and health we need 1 ounce for every 2 pounds of body weight plus 8 more ounces for every 20 minutes of exercise. With hot/dry days and climates even more is needed.

We can get some of our water needs from food and other drinks. However caffeinated or alcoholic drinks do not count towards water intake as they actually dehydrate us. In fact we need more to make up for the dehydrating effect.

  11. Food and Nutrition Board of the National Research Council recommended approximately "1 milliliter of water for each calorie of food," which would amount to roughly two to two-and-a-half quarts per day (64 to 80 ounces). Although in its next sentence, the Board stated "most of this quantity is contained in prepared foods,"

How much water do you need?

Every day you lose water through your breath, perspiration, urine and bowel movements. For your body to function properly, you must replenish its water supply by consuming beverages and foods that contain water.

Several approaches attempt to approximate water needs for the average, healthy adult living in a temperate climate.

Replacement approach: The average urine output for adults is about 1.5 liters (6.3 cups) a day. You lose close to an additional liter of water a day through breathing, sweating and bowel movements. Food usually accounts for 20 percent of your total fluid intake, so if you consume 2 liters of water or other beverages a day (a little more than 8 cups) along with your normal diet, you will typically replace the lost fluids.

Eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day: Another approach to water intake is the "8 x 8 rule" — drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day (about 1.9 liters). The rule could also be stated, "drink eight 8-ounce glasses of fluid a day," as all fluids count toward the daily total. Though the approach isn't supported by scientific evidence, many people use this basic rule as a guideline for how much water and other fluids to drink.

Dietary recommendations: The Institute of Medicine advises that men consume roughly 3 liters (about 13 cups) of total beverages a day and women consume 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day.

Even apart from the above approaches, if you drink enough fluid so that you rarely feel thirsty and produce 1.5 liters (6.3 cups) or more of colorless or slightly yellow urine a day, your fluid intake is probably adequate.
