How much water should i give my plants daily?(in ounces!)?

I am doing this science project and I'm using a 10 gallon aquarium with about 3 inches of potting soil. My ecosystem is grassland and i don't know how much water to use.

And im using a spray bottle with ounces.

it depends. try never to water your plants daily ,they will probably root .water them slowly till a bit of water drains from under the pot . water them again when u touch the soil and feels dry at least one centimeter deep
