  1. You're supposed to drink 8 glasses a day of water. Although if you drink too much water at one time it flushes the nutrients out of your body. So the best thing to do is drink the 8 glasses a day but somewhere in-between those 8 glasses drink a gatorade or something with nutrients.

  2. you're supposed to eat a gallon

each day, believe it or not...

    juice doesn't count,

    fizzy water, idk...

  3. You should drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.  Fruit juices and "fizzy" water, or anything else with sugar, sweeteners, preservatives, additives, carbonation doesn't count.   Drinking sweetened water thoughout the night isn't good for your teeth, since the sugar will be soaking into them during the night

  4. you should be drinking at least half your body weight in ounces of water every day. for example, if you weigh 150 pounds, you should be drinking at least 75 ounces of water in a 24 hour period. carbonated/fizzy water is fine to drink. there are no additives other that air, so the only side effect you will have is increased gas ingestion (and consequently more burping). red bull and coca cola (as well as juices, etc.) have high amounts of sugar as well as other additives. it's not good to drink a lot of these just because of that. i would still drink the amount of water needed on top of any soda or juice you drink. as for drinking too much water, it's basically impossible for someone who hates the taste of 'still water'. think about drinking 5+ gallons a day. yes people do die from drinking too much because it lowers the salinity of blood, but the likelihood of it happening is not much. just do what you can to keep yourself hydrated and remember to drink more if you're working out or in the sun.

oh. and 8 glasses is 64 ounces of water,1 gallon is about 4 liters (or 2-two liter bottles), and carbonated water that has no additives is called seltzer water.

  5. Some "experts" recommend at least 8 glasses (8oz size) of water per day, so 64 ounces.  However, liquid intake should be counted, as long as it's not alcoholic or caffeinated.  Drinks which contain caffeine-like Coca-Cola and especially Red Bull-are actually diuretics, which means they pull water from your body.  If you drink caffeine often, you become adjusted to it, so it's not as dehydrating, but it's still better to drink plain water.  Fruit juice or milk will also count toward your fluid intake, but watch the sugar content.  I'm also not a big water drinker, but I'll often dilute fruit juice or tea to give it a little flavor.

  6. Some people can drink carbonated mineral water.  Otherwise, eat fruits to help give you the water you need and drink water.  Fruit Juice doesn't count.
