  1. You can't simply look at the watts on a power supply you also have to look at the number of amp's you have on it's +12volt rails with those video cards alone your going to need at least 30 amps. So just be careful when looking for power supply, you could have a 1000 watts but only 25 amps and your screwed and risk damaging components.

  2. You shouldn't simply guess at this answer.  The power requirements for an extreme system should be as carefully researched as the equipment you want to put in it.  Since this is an SLI system you need to insure that the power supply you select has the provisions for the SLI setup.  Additionally, you should have several SATA plugs as well.  What you need to help you determine the wattage is a power supply calculator.  There are lots of them available on the net so this one is just an example.  http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psuca...  You may also want to check out Toms Hardware Guide to look at their choices for good brands.  I hope this helps

    Good Luck

  3. 800 at least, your graphics card take a lot of power and so does your ram.  I also see your motherboard is the overclockes dream, so i would watch for the future or do not get that mb, bad reviews.  I would say if your going for overclock thing get 800 or higher, but if you arent 650 to 8 will work fine.

  4. i'd say at least 600 but i suggest 700 watts.

they have some great power supplies on there, some with way over a thousand watts which is overkill even for your computer.

the only thing you have to really worry about is video cards. now days they take up so much power that it is literally the only thing inside the case to worry about.

  5. at minium 500 watts id go about 700 to be safe
