  1. If you follow the instructions, and do everything properly, the reading you get should be within 10% of the actual amount in the sample. The studies I read said that you can rely on that accuracy 95% of the time.

I think all meters tend to be accurate MOST of the time.  I did have trouble with an Accu-Chek Aviva tester a couple of years ago.  I was storing it in a place where there was a lot of humidity and it greatly affected its accuracy.  Once I realized that and changed where I kept it, the problems stopped.

  3. From Experience 90% accurate.

    The point it will tell you a reading close to the truth. Anyway you don't need a 100% accurate at home or you will have to go to the lab each time!

  4. Every once in a blue moon I'll get a most bogus number back.  Like 420.  If I check again it might come down to 200+/-.  It's real strange, but this almost never happens.  It's more or less as reliable as any other one I've used.  I don't recheck every number, only the ones that I can't justify and/or there's no symptoms to support it.
