  1. I tend to follow the instructions on the package.

    It is poison, after all.

Often, stuff like weedkiller needs 2 (2!) weeks to work.

So you can either poison your surroundings, or wait 2 weeks and have the same result :)

  2. If you read the container it will tell you how much to use

  3. Read and FOLLOW the directions on the package.  More is not always better.

  4. You have got to be kidding, surely you are not so ignorant to never have read the instructions on a registered and potentially hazardous chemical. this is why such chemicals should be much much more heavily regulated for home use.

farmers, landscapers and other professionals have to take courses to get their applicators licenses but the non professionals often using the same formulations are allowed to buy and use these poisons without being required to know what they are dealing with.

  5. No you use as much as you need, then save the rest for anoter day or another spot.  Just make sure the weeds you want to kill are wet.  If in a couple of weeks nothing has happened you can try it again.  Remembering though that your supposed to do it when no rain is forecasted for the next 48 hrs.  (Gives the spray time to kill the weeds).

    Goodluck
