  1. funny you would ask, I have seen Tiger in the gym and really he is not that strong. I'd say he could bench maybe 175lbs. It's really just the camera angles. He also fired his caddy Fluff because he was so big he made Tiger look smaller.

So just for the record and I will stand by this until proven wrong Tiger could maybe I mean just maybe max out at 180 but he would never attempt it without spotters.

  2. 320

  3. I know during the US Open they said he does over 300.

  4. I have always heard he bench presses around 300 lbs. but I don't believe it. I know he is in good shape, but he doesn't look like he can press that much. Maybe he does, I don't know.

  5. 300+

  6. The 300 pound number is most likely BS.  Or it's a calculated 1RM (one rep max).  That's also conceivable on a smith machine or other plate machine.  But a free bar??????

I lifted heavy when I was a corrections officer in my 20s and  still only maxed out at 275.  I can tell you from experience that if you were putting up 300 regularly it would take a toll on your golfing ability.  You'd be worn out and sore all the time and it would put a heck of a lot of stress on your shoulders.

If I had to put money down, I'd say he couldn't put up 300 on a free bar (and definately not dumbells) unassisted.

  7. Tiger Woods bench press is reported to be around the 300 pound mark. Tiger has been weight training since he was 21. He keeps his training very private and very few photos have ever been taken on him working out. When asked about his bench press and workouts, Tiger refused to give out any details. Though about a year ago Tiger said his bench was 240+. Tiger's personal trainer estimated Tiger Woods bench press (1 REP MAX) to be around the 300 pound mark.

  8. I've always heard 300+
