I weigh about 180. Also, will it ruin my chair in any way?

  1. I reckon this question is probably for shock value.  Anyways, for any book it would depend on the size of the chair leg.  The surface are of the end of the chair leg on the book is important.  It matters if the book is hardbound or softbound.  The size of the book is important also.  The only way I could see it ruining your chair is if the book was not thick enough, so it would not totally correct the problem, and then if you sat in it there is a possibility the chair would break.  It usually considered tacky to elevate a chair leg with a book or anything like that.  You should consider buying a new chair.

  2. Try and see.  Don't forget to let us know, OK?

  3. If you are trying to be funny, you failed.  The Bible should be on top of the chair, opened, and being read.

  4. hmmm, If a bible doesn't work try another fictional novel.
