How much weight can i lose by...? ?

how much weight can I lose by:

*drinking water instead of eating a snack (i'll eat fruit but not like cheetos or something)

*exercising for 30 minutes a day (strength training, cardio and elliptical bike)

*cutting out pop (except like every now and then....)

*eating fruits whenever i get hungry (not including breakfast/lunch/dinner)

i know i sound conceited and im not looking for compliments (u shoudnt give me any anyways..)

i just wanted to know how much weight i can lose by doing all this? my goal is to lose enough by november...approx. how much will i lose?

  1. your body weight is absolutely perfect for your height.  you will loose weight with your plan but if you loose any more than 10lbs you will be on the way to being underweight.not good.

    i don't think you're conceited but perhaps a bit ignorant if you actually even considered that you are overweight.  you are perfectly normal and you have a bit of room on either side to loose a bit or put on a bit.

    google bmi calculator. as long as you stay within the ranges they give you'll be fine.  its a measure of your body mass taking both your weight and height into account.  its a great indication if you're ever wondering what weight range you are in.


  2. Well I am certainly no fitness expert but I don't see how proceeding with your plan could do anything but help, and I would expect to lose about 2-5 pounds a week. Just be careful not to go crazy on the fruit. Fruits contain sugar that is much healthier for your body than processed sugar, but it is sugar none the less, and too much of it isn't good for you. As far as your concern about being overweight, I would check out a Body Mass Index...or a BMI. Although these won't always give you exact results depending on what percent of your body is muscle, they are usually pretty accurate. Hope I was of help!
