  1. In 9 months you could be very skinny. Treadmill is all i can say. Those things are great just throw one in front of the tv and run for like 30 minutes 4 times a week. And yes stick to less than 1000 calories a day. Good luck.

  2. It matters how your metabolism is. Exercise will lead to the best results, just run every other day, maybe a mile or two and you will lose weight fast.

  3. well first off nine months is enough

but u have to be patient

set a goal like losing a pound a week

and their is usually 4 weeks in a month

so in one month u lose 4 pounds

so in 9 months u lose around 30+plus pounds

    good luck ^^

  4. Well you would. You should eat 2000 calories.

  5. doing it safely, you can lose about 40 lbs in 9 months.

please, please tell your parent about this so he/she can help you do this safely!!

  6. the minimum calories you should eat is 1200, because anything lower than that, ur body goes into starvation mode, and you gain weight in stead of losing. Losing around 20lbs will take you down a size. So I think you're in the clear if you have nine months to do it. Losing 20lbs, eating 1200 calories and doing a mild workout routine will get you to lose 20lbs in a few months.

  7. you could but you need to be careful going down to to few calories. you need to cut out the carbs one tortilla a day is what is recommend for a diabetic diet. cut down on portions and eat small meals more often as you will not get to hungry and over eat.

  8. While counting calories is definitely necessary to ensure you aren't eating more calories than you're burning off, don't restrict your calories too much, like 1000 calories per day. Extreme caloric restriction is bad for two reasons: first, you're still growing (you're only 14 - which means you probably have a pretty high metabolism because you're young) and second, restricting caloric intake too much can actually slow down your metabolism to where you'll actually lose weight initially (but that's mostly muscle, not fat you're losing) but gain all that weight back in the long term, because you've lost all that muscle (muscle burns more calories than fat) and slowed down your metabolism significantly. What you should do, and what's worked for my sister who turned 15 this year, is eat healthy, consuming your fruits, veggies, whole grain carbs, and plenty of protein (as having more muscles means you're clothes will definitely fit better), and exercise at least 3-4 times a week. You should consume at least anywhere between 1800 to 2200 calories a day; you should consume more calories if you exercise vigorously (2 or more hours for at least 5 days a week). I'll tell you what worked for my sister. She lost about 15 pounds in about 4-5 weeks and built a nice, lean muscle definition from playing tennis for 2 hours a day for 4 days a week and eating plenty of healthy carbs, fresh fruits, and veggies. She was hungry all the time and ate voraciously, but kept losing weight because she revved up her metabolism through exercise and having a healthy appetite. I think if you set up an appointment with a dietician and/or physical trainer, or just talk to your parents about it, I'm sure you can come up with a similar meal plan and workout schedule that will help you lose the weight you want in 9 months. How much weight are you planning to lose by the way? If it's anywhere between 15 and 90 lbs, I'm sure with proper planning, eating, and exercise, you'll make your goal. Good luck!

  9. You have the perfect amount of time to get to your goal:) I recommend Weight Watchers. It is the most realistic and healthiest diet out there and it will teach you how to lead a healthy, lean lifestyle and keep the weight off for life! There is no deprivation or crash-dieting, you will quickly feel and look great! I lost 35 pounds in only three months when I was in seventh grade by going to the meetings and following the healthy approach. They don't make you eat or cut-out certain foods from your diet which will keep you motivated. I am 18 now and still live by their approach and have the body of my dreams. Regular exercise is great too and Weight Watchers will teach you every step! Follow the link and see what you think. Remember that your body is your temple and should be treated with respect. Best of luck to you:) Have a great Quinceanera!
