How much weight can my horse hold?

my horse is about 15.4 hands and about 1,00 pounds..how much weight can she hold on her back?

you cant have 15.4hh its either 15.3 or 16.0hh and it depends on the build, if its a TB, you shouldnt put more than 9 stone on it but if its a draft, you could probably get about 15 stone on it.

15.4 doesnt exsist

its either 15.3 / 16.00

and it depends on what breed and its age  

the best ting you could do is get the vet

and ask them or a very knowing

horse friend who can help you

well if he is in shape then he should be able to hold about 200 lbs

but before taking any advice ask a skilled vet

My horse is only 14.2 or something like that and she can hold a 150 lb woman with ease. But it really depends on if their thinner or stockier.

The general rule is a horse should only have to carry 1/10 of their weight.
