  1. I lost 16lbs the first 8 months and gained 6lbs the last month.  After I gave birth I lost 23lbs....Im slightly overweight and I had very bad morning sickness until my daughter was born so thats why I lost so much weight.

  2. 30 pnds i think.and lost 10 pounds : )

  3. I gained 40 lbs my first pregnancy

this time I am 25 weeks and I have gained 12 pounds so far.

If pre-pregnancy weight was in the healthy range for your height  you should gain between 25 and 35 pounds

If you were underweight for your height at conception you should gain 28 to 40 pounds.

If you were overweight for your height , you should gain 15 to 25 pounds.

If you were obese  you should gain no more than 15 pounds.

If you're having twins you should gain about 35 to 45 pounds.

  4. I gained about 35lbs.  She is almost a year old and I still have 7lbs to lose before I am at prepregnancy weight.

  5. With my first I weighed the same after I gave birth than when I got pregnant but I was very sick. With my second I gained about 30lbs.

  6. I gained 28 with the first 31 with the second and 23 with the 3rd.  Seems like between 20 and 30  is the average.  They do say that smaller women tend to gain a little more.  While heavyset ladies gain a little less.

  7. <-- I gained 68 lbs. with him! =]

.. but I lost 73 lbs. after his birth..

  8. The average is around 30 lbs. but I gained around 65lbs. 3 months later and still trying to get that stubburn last 15 off aaaarrrrrrh!

  9. I gained 43

  10. Everyone is a little different .  I believe it is true that someone can gain very little weight, have a baby with a normal weight, and leave the hospital in skinny pants.

This is just my opinion: The average woman gains during her pregnancy is just that.  An average.  Some women gain a lot of weight, some lose weight.  The majority gain 20-30.  A lot depends on what the woman is eating, her beginning weight, and whether she is having multiples.

My first pregnancy I started out about 40 pounds overweight and I gained 20.  My second pregnancy I started out 75 pounds overweight and I lost 20 pounds in the beginning and then gained 5.

  11. I gained about 40 lbs with my first pregnancy, with my second pregnancy i gained 10 lbs but lost it in the last 4 wks of my pregnancy and this time around I am 31 wks and have gained 24 lbs.  Average is about 25-30 lbs.  The baby, amniotic fluid, placenta, enlarged b*****s and increased blood all factor in on how much weight you gain plus the extra food you eat and retaining water.

  12. Before pregnancy I was 143 pds.I'm 5ft 7in.I'm now 24 weeks pregnant and I'm 174 as of Tuesday doctors appointment.

  13. this information is false.  normal weight gain on a woman of normal weight is 25-30 lbs and of higher weight 20-25 lbs

    look it up on babycenter.com

personally i gained 26 lbs and when the baby and everything went out i was at 10 lbs over the weight...i am back in my old jeans now and its been 6 weeks.  i am normal weight for my body.

  14. With my first baby i gained 15lbs. and he was 4lbs. 8oz. at birth (he was also 7 weeks preemie). My second (9 years later) I gained 35lbs. and she was 6lbs. 2oz. at birth. I think it all just depends on each separate pregnancy. They say every pregnancy is different. Good luck to you!

  15. I'm 5'3 and 102lbs but gained 41lbs for my pregnancy. I had twins! It all came off two weeks later though. Good luck on TTC!

  16. i gained 35lbs

  17. I gained 40... still have 10 to lose!

  18. I heard the average weight gain is 30 lbs during pregnancy.

  19. 60 pds

  20. I only gained 11 pounds. I had my son at 35 weeks and he weighed 4lbs 15.6oz and was 17 inches long. He was healthy with no problems whatsoever. He is now 7 years old.

I weighed about 115 pounds when i got pregnant but because i threw up non stop from the time i was 2 months until the day i had my son i believe that is why i could not gain alot of weight but it did not matter my son was born perfect.
