    that's why those hydrocars don't sink, as well as a good seal

    I could have something an ounce and it could sink if it was dense enough, like metal or something, while a rubber duck wouldn't.

  4. Depends on how buoyant the object is.  For example, a rock doesn't need any weight to sink.  A life jacket on the other had can hold a lot of weight above the surface.
