  1. my sister is 120 lbs and she rides her Arabian gelding and he is about 14.3 and he performs wonderfully. He is barely a horse but her is a little thicker then a pony. horses shouldn't hold more then 30% of their weight.

  2. Horses can carry around 20% of its own body mass. A shorter backed pony can carry up to 35% of its body mass. At 14.2 unless the animal is very thin or unhealthy the animal will have no problems with either of your weights. I have a 13.3 hand 850 lbs rocky/quarter pony cross that carries 230 lbs  for hours and still ready to go.

  3. Any horse/pony can carry 20% of their own weight

  4. when i was 50 kilos i was riding anything from minis to drafts...basically any pony can hold that...now i'm 60 boooo

  5. any horse/pony can carry about 20% of its own body weight...... have fun doing the math

  6. I think that would be ok... it depends on the breed and theredisipline like clysdales are build too pull things you have to find out what the ponies breed is ment for.

hope I helped! please best answer!
