How much whey protein should I take and when?

I have a lot of whey protein, and I don't really know what to do with it. Should I take it before/after/during a workout? Should I have it before/after/during my meals? Should I take it in between my meals? How much do I take? What if I take too much?

  1. 20g pre workout, 40g postworkout with 80g carbs and no fat or fiber.


  2. I usually take 3 per day. One during breakfast. One before and after working out.
