For example, how much is a soda or a bottle of water in USD?

  1. A soda is 0.35 at the grocery store.  Water approx. 0.40/bottle.  Gasoline is the same.  Eating out is approx. 7.00/meal including fish or shrimps.

    Don't miss fresh fruits: bananas 0.15/pound, watermelon: 2.00/ea, pineapple 1.00/ea


  2. With the dollar you can get a bunch of stuff. They use the same currency as we do. But the dollar can buy much more there than it can buy here. I love to spend my money there then here.

  3. no idea but mayybeee not so expensive i've heard it's a very cheap country like to buy and stuff :)!!

  4. Almost everything and I'm generalizing here, by US standards is roughly 30-40% less.  Except, cars, gas and houses.  These are very similar in price to what you can find in the US.

    Note, the currency in Panama is the US dollar.
