How much will I be reimbursed if I opt out of my UPS health insurance coverage?

I'm covered through the reserves already so I have no need for it.

  1. Nothing.

    Penny wise and pound foolish, though.  If you have reserves enough to cover a major medical problem, you sure don't belong working at UPS.


  2. You may want to reconsider that.  The UPS coverage...last I heard anyway....was phenomenal coverage.  You may not want to opt out of it, but look into and weigh your options.

    Just check with your HR department and they'll be able to let you know.

  3. When I worked at ups i opted out of the insurance. At the time I was salary, and it was only a credit of around 100 ish a month.  The actual number depends on many things that I can not remember.  If you work for a smaller part of ups it may be different. Call your HR or payroll dept, along with the benefits line and they should v=be able to help you.
