How much will I get for this used textbook?

i have a used chemistry text book and im going to sell it to a used book store. it's hardback and the price for it new is $140 but i got it used for $110 i think. how much will they give me? it has no writing at all or anythign

Sell it at http://www.thefairbookexchange.com  Its a new site that lets students sell their old books directly to other students on your campus.  You can get more for it than the bookstore will give you.

Every bookstore and college is different. Mine would only pay 1/2 of the most recent selling price of the book. If I paid $100 for it, then they would buy it back from me for $50 then sell it to the next student for $75.

Sounds like your local book store has a better buyback policy than mine did!
