How much will I have to spend for my travel from New york to Texas ?

How much will it cost me to travel to Texas ? I am from a violent and abusive family . Recently one of my uncles in Texas has offered me help to come stay with him . Unfortunately I can't fly because I have a recently bought Car and I don't wanna sell it yet because people tells me i'll only lose money ( which is true ) ..

If I drive , i think it'll be around 3 days , but ..this is confusing me .. and I am a very logical person .. how am I going to drive at night ? Will I have to stay at a hotel ? ..I wish I had normal family members who would give me straight answers and hence the "move"..

I was thinking that it'll cost me at MOST - $200 just for the gas .

But if I need to stay at motels at night , I m thinking the spending will go up .. I am not sure what to do , Can you help me out ?

About 75 gallons of gas one way.  At $3.25 a gallon, the trip will cost about $245 not including tolls.  You'll either sleep in the car one night and drive for 15 hours the first day and 14 hours the second or stay at a motel.   $65 a night.   $200 is going to leave you stranded somewhere in Tennessee.   How about food?  And what if you get a flat?

gas money will not be 200. more like 800. and all that would do is run up the miles. not to ,mention all your stuff. just selleverything, or keep it on public storage.
