How much will i have to spend on a decent turbo for 99 honda civic installed?

  1. Probably over $5,000 including parts, labor, and tuning.  This doesn't including upgrading the engine so it can actually take the boost without blowing up in a month.


  2. You can buy no-name turbo kits on ebay for about $500 but who know how good they are. For a name brand turbo kit like GReddy expect to pay between $3500-$5000 for the kit and installation, depending on the size of the turbo.

  3. Like the first guy said, you'll spend about $5,000 in labor and parts. That's just to get the turbo on the car and running, then you basically have to "bullet proof" the rest of your car so it can handle the turbo. That will cost you thousands more and lots of time. So its up to you really, you can spend the $5k for just a turbo installed, sure you'll be able to drive it, but i would say you wont make it past 2 months without running into a problem.
