Question:

How much will it approximately be to fix my axel?

I believe it is the padding in my axel, someone told me it was the rubber protective things on the joints of the axel.

Every time I turn my car all I get is a very loud clunking sound and help would be greatly appreciated.

Im just looking for what it might be and an estimate on the price

Thanks a ton

  1. The clicking is the joint. it got water and / or dirt in it because the boot /cover was bad  most cars should be around $200 - 250 with a new boot

  2. Axel is spelled "Axle"   good luck!

  3. Hard to say.. can be from $80 to 180 bucks! depends on the repair shop and the car,- make/model/year...not to mention if they are or can just replace the "boot" or if they need to replaqce the entire drive CV axel...

BEST to shop around! note the cost
