How much will it cost for me to go to Barcelona, Spain?

i want to know how much the average trip would cost. including hotel, airfair, tours, and food. plz help me!

my friend went to barcelona last summer he spent about 3 wks there... again the cost of the trip depends on your aims for going there. according to my friend I would suggest he spent roughly about $$$ 3500

I was there in January for a few days. Airfare will average around $400-$500 depending on the time of year/season. The hotel we stayed at was really nice and cost about $120 per night, but I'm sure you can find cheaper. Food was about $50-$60/day: that included cheap breakfast like a bagel or coffee, a cheap lunch at a small pizza shop or sandwich shop and splurging most of our daily food budget for a really nice dinner, including 1 glass of wine. The 2-day tour was around $20 and it was a hop-on/hop-off bus throughout the whole city.

One of the bargains in Barcelona ( and all of Spain) is the 'menu del dia' business lunch. For only €10 to €15 you get full three courses with a soft drink or beer or a half liter of wine.

Check out the menus outside restaurants and bars, look inside and if the place is full, go in.

Much better than any fast food place.
