  1. You should go to a tack supply store and price everything that you will need.  You can find much of it online at websites like

    http://www.countrysupply.com

    http://www.jeffersequine.com

    http://www.statelinetack.com

    http://www.doversaddlery.com

Then make your list and start saving.  You may not need a whole lot to get started.  Some of the bigger items are things like a horse trailer, fencing, water tank, etc.

    Have fun.

  2. I don't know the exact price but I think itz around 100+ for grooming suplies but for a saddle nd bridle nd reins etc mabi 750+ good luck!!

  3. That's great its so much fun getting a horse!!! OK so you are going to need

    hard body brush

    soft body brush

    hoof pick

    main and tail brush

    saddle

    bit

    bridle

    reins

    saddle pad

    halter

    lead line

    blankets

and that's the stuff you use on your horse

    you will also need

    vet wraps

banemine (think thats how you spell it!)

    vet spray

Then you will need all the food and stuff like that.

for all of this stuff you are looking between 800-2500

    for the cheapest stuff,

if you dont need a saddle that will bump your price right down

you can just go to your local tack store they will have most every think you need. I would get used tack much cheaper!! but dont get that until you have your horse you will want to make sure it fits!!

I hope this helped i dont know if i answered it right but i really hope you have fun!! by the way the horse market sucks right now so you can find a really good horse for cheap!!!

  4. Well there is a lot of stuff that you can buy second hand if you look out for it. Visit car boot sales etc and you will be surprised what you can find. Sponges, buckets, hosepipes, connectors etc can all be got from ordinary £ ( or $) stores. Tack and brushes can be bought from Ebay or local small ads.

How much it will all cost varies - you could spend a little or you could spend a lot.

  5. you had better start saving a lot of money. You can get on Dover saddlery.com or State Line Tack.  and order a catalog or just look through their web site Hoof picks are cheat , cleaning brushes are cheap.  Hay and feed is really expensive.  vets,  and farriers are expensive.  You really need to know what you are getting into before you do this.  It might be best for you to find a lesson barn in your area and take lessons on a school horse for awhile before you make any long term decisions about buying a horse

  7. well the grooming supplies should total to about $50. The saddle, reins, and bridle, plus any other needed equipment can cost over...$300. What kind of riding do you plan on doing? Western, English, Dressage, etc.? Different styles of riding cost different amounts of money. If you need any help contact me at lizer1994@frontiernet.net also if you plan on buying supplies may I recomend talking to your trainer. Maybe she/he can help you find cheaper saddles and bridles. Also grooming supplies can be found at horse.com.
