How much will it cost to get Financial Aid (Fasfa) papers done by an accountant?

Hi,

I'm having trouble with the fasfa progress. Does anyone know how much the guy who does my taxes might charge me? I just don't know if I should expect to pay $30, $60, more?

Has anyone had this done professionally before? Thanks.

It would cost at least $75 an hour but I can't imagine an accountant even taking the job.  

In my estimation a college student should be smart enough to fill in a form.

expect to pay a lot more like the cheapest would be in the mid 100's or it could go up to 500.

its really not that bad. i did mine a few months a go. just make Sure you have all of your tax forms. it tells you exactly where to go (line, page , number, letter) and if you click the help button it will give you extra instructions for each ?. i know i had to call the help line for something and they were supper nice! just dint add any thing that you don't really have to, money wise. remember this is the one time in life when you want to act as poor as you possibly can! don't worry about it, fasa is not that hard to do just time consuming. so get all of your papers, your PIN and about a hour to do it. if your doing it and really are having trouble just cancel it and then you can go find some one to do it for you but try it first. again its really not that bad. careful tho the deadline is approaching.  good luck!!

There should be no reason why you should have to pay someone to do your FAFSA(FREE Application For Federal Student Aid). You should go to FAFSA.ED.GOV click on complete FAFSA, it is simple enough for you to complete as long as you follow the directions. Your financial aid office should help you if you needed any help at all. I am starting a business where I would offer free help with completing the FAFSA to high school and new college students (now I see my business will do very well because there is not enough help out there).
