i dont think it will be available in good guys, cause they dont sell any phones from what i hear ( do they))  600 to 800 is lots why cant they just keep the price like the us does 200!!

I think that the amount that is being proposed (ie 600-800) is outrageous I am an ex aussie here in the US and the new Apple iphone 3G (which is due out Juy 11 -  Friday) is only $199 US. I dont know how carriers can justify this over inflated price and then pass it onto Australians. I would boycott it if I was there at home and wait till the price dropped. I am thinking about getting the new iphone here in Chicago and unlocking it so that I can bring it with me when I come home for vacation next year. The other suggestion is to get someone here to buy you one and have it unlocked and sent to you. Bear in mind that one the iphone is unlocked it void the warrenty.

Optus have excellent plans (made me regret getting N95 8G two months ago). In fact, sound too good to be true!

I always laugh at people who have more than 1 mobile (the extra expenses, confusing the friends with multiple mobile numbers).

I might get the iphone and I'll have to eat my own pants!
