How much will this cost

Question

My car was just hit in a parking lot and the person took off without leaving a note. It looks like an SUV or truck trailer hitch hit my bumper. There is now a hole in my 2002 Ford Focus bumper. I am assuming I am going to have to get it replaced and would like to know hiow much you think this will cost in total. If you know of a way to fix it other than replacing the bumper please let me know too. I do not have lot of money so I need to know if this is something I am going to have to start saving up for. Thanks for your help.

only if it bothersyou.  l assume you did not call the police. no report no claim. put tape over hole spray paint same color ..

it is not cheap. Try a salvage yard first.

For now put a bumper sticker over it and save up!

If you are at all mechanical you can do the replacement your self.  You can find replacement bumpers for half the cost of a dealer.  If you take it to a dealer your looking at $500-$700.

If its not too bad, you can get a fiberglass kit or even put a little bondo on it and buy a can of spraypaint that matches the factory color. You can get all of this at places like autozone, advance auto, etc for cheap. A new bumber is gonna cost a good bit of money.
