How much will this tattoo cost?

OK so I am 16 and am getting a tattoo in next few months.I picked a lion because it is religious and represents my football team,so I will not regret having this tattoo.I want that very same tattoo on my chest and want a rough Idea on how much it will cost.

I am also open for recommendations on different designs as long as it is an lion.

Congratulations, you are the thousandth person this week to ask that same, broad ranging and meaningless question!

The only person who can give you a proper price, or anything like, is your tattooist and then only when you have discussed fully what, where and how big. Each studio charges different rates, depending on where they are, how good they are and lots of other things. The problem is, since you're too young to legally get a tattoo in the UK, you're not going to be talking to any decent tattooist, because they don't tattoo children.

price depends on the quality of the artist. While it would be awesome if someone quotes you $100 or $150, they are probably not a good artist.

You should expect to pay about $250 for something like that.

Remember, you'll have it for life. Spend more now for a good tattoo. You don't want to pay more to have it touched up by another artist or covered up because its not good.

I'm hangin out with my tattoo artist right now. He says that if it is that size and black and white it would be 300-330. If color it would be 400.

Get it in black and white, I don't know GBP but in Canada your lookin at about $300 for a good job, maybe half that at a sketchy dive.

I think it an okay design. If your just doing it black and white it should be $300 at the most. It really depends on the size and where you live though.
