How much will transporting a pushbike in the back of my van increase fuel consumption?

the van is a citoren berlingo and has no other toolls or anything in it. There's nowhere to put it in my house so i have started storing it in back of van !

  1. No difference as there is hardly any weight. The biggest factor is how you drive.

  4. why don't put the van on your back, and cycle everywhere.

  5. it would make the same difference to the van as you do after you eat a big meal. nothing really . watch the heavy braking in case it decides to join you in the front

  6. A tiny bit of fuel effect on acceleration, but nothing once you're rolling at a steady speed.
