How much will universal health care cost each taxpayer?

I would like to know if anyone knows how much it will cost each taxpayer to enact universal health care. I have heard the gross figures, but wonder how to break that down to the average taxpayer.

well it depends...if the state makes the taxpayers pay for it then its gonna hurt..but ive heard rumours about increasing spending from the govts part and it wouldnt be so bad...countries like switzerland have universal healthcare and they say it doesnt break the bank but  i dont know all the facts

If you want realistic a template, look at some of the tax rates of countries with socialized medicine. 60-90%. The fatter the inefficient government gets, the more bloated the tax burden for all

what money . there is no money to support this . what we need is cheep health care . not free. we area country that produces less and less each day everything is being out sourced. People that answer the phone in India are not buying at our malls and small businesses.

We can loose this country if we start thinking socialist.

rich country's like norway can do this , not us we don't even have enough oil for another 30 years.

i have no idea, but i think that it will be a lot...i wouldn't be surprised if each individual got taxed just as much, if not more, than if they went out and bought a private health plan for themselves.
