How much will we spend in Puerto Rico, honestly?

Me and my boyfriend are going to Puerto Rico on the 15th of this month. I only want to be prepared. So we have our flight, hotel and our entertainment paid for. Strictly for food and maybe getting around just San Juan and a few souvenir's how much should we take with us? We were thinking it might be some where around 600.00. Too much or too little?

it depends on how many ur staying there and if its for two weeks 600 its alright but if its more than two week=more money

If its only for food and souvenirs I would take like from 50-75 per diem per person. I dont know how long you are staying. Food in Old San Juan is good but careful with pricy turisty restaurants. I suggest you check the menu in front before going in. If you are going on a low budget a 35-40 per diem/per person is possible as well.

800 is best. for getting around of the island and for eat where you want. chilis, LOnghorn, Outback etc. i know you are looking for olive garden? ahhhhhh..... we dont have a olive garden sorry.

u need at least 800.00 not counting renting a car if u are going around the island u definetly need to rent a car for that, unless u are staying in the san juan area, then u dont need one.

(this is if you already have everything payed for)

I also recommend u dont leave that money in the hotel room, rather take it with u everywhere u go, and dont flash it all when buying something in the stores, because druggies are not dangerous, but they will have the eye and start begging for money. if you buy something, rather take 20 bucks and separated for everything that u will buy and hide the big ones in another pocket. if u give a druggie some money, just take out from the change pocket, without showing bills, only give them change or not (your choice) in front of other locals, never give them in a solitary place.
