They can get so bad they can get contracted and then mlb will have a draft featuring all their crappy players who will go undrafted and then on to the free agent market (Do they still have Zimmerman? he may get picked)

Not much worse than what they are. They're horrible. I acutally feel sorry for nat fans, got that new stadium, and absolutley no production from anyone. Fire that GM of yours, you guys need to clean house in the worst way.

The Nationals claim they are building for the future. Whether they really are, or not, remains to be seen. If they are, they're probably 5 years from serious contention. They might not win until 2013 or 2014.

To rebuild from the ground floor up, takes a minimum of 5 years. To answer your question, yes, they can get worse, and probably will.
