im just woundering this because i think i might start ripping them off then twisting the end, because that filter holds back a lot of smoke and it would make stronger hits, but how much of a hit would that do to my health compare to regular smoking? is it worth it?

  1. you'll probably cough a lot at first, and you shouldnt do it all the time, only when you feel like you really need a stronger hit

  2. It's a lot worse- about 4 times the toxins. Is it worth it to smoke period is a better question.

But if you insist, they do sell unfiltered cigarettes. Job security for me.

  3. the unfiltered cigarettes they make provide a stronger hit but arent completely unfiltered. they still have a slight filter which allows some toxins still to be blocked. ripping off the ends of the cigarette is a lot worse for you. stick to buying unfiltered cigs.

  4. Studies show that filters do not reduce death rates. They're just there to fool you into thinking that the cigarettes are less unhealthy. Ditto for light cigarettes, which in studies have no health advantage over the regular or unfiltered kinds. This is all apparently because people adjust their smoking patterns to get as much nicotine as they want.
