  1. are you comparing to the american currency?

well it should be the same but i'll give you the conversion.

    $2.50 USD = $2.486 CAD

    no big difference.

  2. Currency exchange can change often - sometimes drastically, but most often just minimally. There are lots of sites that can give you up to date values. Here is one I use often.:

    At this moment

    2.50 USD = 2.48413 CAD

For small money, this will not make a huge difference but Corporations doing large transactions may feel the difference.

  3. Well, since you did not say what currency you are using, all the answers except blah blah boy are pretty much correct.

Remember that USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and many others use dollars and cents, and many currencies can be shown as $2.50 even when it is in a different currency.

It is assumed you are referring to US dollars, in which case it is about the same amount nowadays.

  4. US dollar Australian dollar or the many other dollars?

  5. For information about money and currency in Canada, check out this page I've found for you.

  6. hmm it would be $2.50

  7. As of today, 5-30-08, the exchange rate is 0.9872.

Therefore, $2.50 US dollars = $2.47 Canadian Dollars

Which sucks because just 3-4 years ago, $2.50 would have been $3.78 because the exchange rate was 1.51!
