How much would I spend on Gas mileage???

Question

I am traveling from California to Oklahoma which is a 1,700 mile drive. I get 20mpg and Gas is $4.30 per gallon. Please help I am trying to figure it out.

My figure came to about $370 (Im not sure if that is right).

Yep, the cost is right. Don't forget about food and hotel cost along the way, too. And hopefully your car is in good shape and won't break down. That can add a lot to the cost, and time, too. If you're going back to California, multiply by 2! Good luck!

Last year my parents and i took a trip to Orlando to disney world from the tristate area ny and it was alright I rather drive then fly if i had a car.

That estimate is about right maybe $400 I would say or more.

You might get lost a few times.

I don't know about the west at all but while we were going down south the gas was cheaper and the stations were better.

I hate the west it looks like ghost towns are all over.

Or dead zones like on verizon wireless.

If you don't got a cellphone thats badluck for you 4 sure Youll get lost.

You're pretty close.  I would figure around $400 for getting lost, driving around with friends when you get there and sight seeing.  Have fun
