  1. Just go get it appraised by a jeweler. They will tell you.

  2. didn't you just ask this?  bluenile.com and get an idea there OR just go get it appraised by a jeweler.

  3. Honestly, not much. And a jewelry appraisal is not going to give you the answer. A jewelry appraiser can tell you what the ring should be insured for - in other words, what it was worth when it was bought at a store. BUT, the market for used diamond jewelry is practically nonexistent. If you could find a jewelry store or pawnshop that was willing to buy it, they'd pay you a very small fraction of its appraisal value. Someone off the street who is looking to buy diamond jewelry is not going to pay you even half of the appraisal value, either. If they wanted to spend a significant amount of money on diamond jewelry, they'd go to a jewelry store, where they could get a warranty and be assured of quality and value.

Plus, with diamonds that small, the appraisal price won't be very much. Three diamonds that add up to .14 carats won't even be worth half what one .14 carat diamond is worth, and those are pretty inexpensive to begin with. You're better off keeping this for sentimental reasons, because I'd be surprised if you could even get $50 for this ring.

  4. Be aware that KT is the abbreviation for karat which is a measure of gold content.  Twenty four karats is pure gold.  Fourteen is decent quality but durable.  It is very common is North American jewellery.

A carat is the measure of the weight of a diamond, sometimes used for other gemstones.

Those diamonds are fairly small so they would not be very costly.  you could buy a 14 kt ring with those size diamonds for a couple hundred dollars, depending on the thickness of the gold.

  5. If it says 14 Kt than it is probably refer to the karat weight of the gold (my engagement ring is 14 kt white gold too).  Diamonds are weighed in Carats (with a "C" I don't know why they are spelled different).

If it is .14 carats in diamonds you could probably get $500-$1000 for it (from a generous buyer).  But you should probably get it appraised so you know for sure (and can get the most amount of money for it's value).
