The penny you want is a lincoln head penny, but the year is 1909 and it has a S mint mark and a VDB bottom center of the obverse side.

It depends on the penny you have.  With copper prices being the way they are, you might be able to get(for a wheat back penny) up to three times what it was worth.  Yeah a whole $.03.  Hey, tripled your money, just like that!

Now if it was a 1931-S, you would be looking at a $50.00 coin.  This is something you would expect to receive from a dealer.
