How much would a asphalt driveway cost?

We want to rip out the old drive and put in a whole new aspahlt driveway. Our drive is 10 feet wide and its about 700 feet long. Or we might have a cemented drive put in so how much do you think it would cost?

  1. Around here, I'm told it's about $2-6/sq ft for asphalt, $6-12 for concrete.  Plus the cost of digging and hauling the old asphalt, and proper preparation for pouring either one.

    Those are last-year's prices, so add more for current fuel costs, etc.

    Topping your current drive with more asphalt or otherwise repairing it may be your low cost option.
