I dont know what kind of boat it is. (i know that would help) But I thinks its from the late 90s or 2000 lol. I know not much info, but a family member is selling their boat for about $2,000 and I was curious about how much it should sell for with a broken engine? Its in really good condition. Barely used.

  1. One really need to know what kind of boat it is to answer this question.  Both Nada and Buc.net give used boat prices much like used car prices.  yachtworld.com and bottrader.com both allow you to search by boat make, so you can get an idea of waht others are selling their boats for.  I'd also look at the Craig's list for big cities in your area.

  2. No engine, less than $1000

  3. Hi Crazy Mom

It really depends on a lot of things to give you a close to accurate price for that boat.  Of course the make and model play a big role in the price of a boat and the type of motor also plays a part in the price as well, the length the type, is it a ski boat or a fishing boat, bass fishing, or flats fishing, inshore, off shore, salt water, fresh water.  I know that is a lot to know if you are not the owner, but all of that information is needed if you really wanted to get a price for a boat sight unseen.

Here is an example:  A used Boston Whaler, 16' ft with a 50hp motor can run some where around 10 thousand dollars,  a 35 ft Bertram with inboard motors can run around 100 to 150 thousand dollars and then there are those that can run around 2 thousand dollars, like a small Bay liner, remember these are use prices so a newer boat would cost a lot more, a Boston Whaler 16' with a 50 hp motor will run about 20 to 25 thousand depending on where you buy it from.

So with out any information or a picture of the boat I can give you a price.

I am sorry I couldn't be more help to you, sorry.

Take care and good luck....Keep the Faith....Peace....cya....
