How much would a builder charge to put together a kit home?

Does it depend on how big the house is? its about a 3 br and 13sq if that helps

It will definitely depend upon the size and complexity of the home, whether the infrastructure is set or needs to be etsablished (plumbing, basement, foundation, electricity, etc.), and the type and accessibility of the lot.  In your favor right now is the fact that the home construction workers are heading into their off season, and you might be able to retain them a bit less expensively now than during peak building months.  A kit home of comparable size in the US would cost about $35,000 to put up, if all the preparation and infrastructure were set, and if you or someone would do the flooring, painting, etc., once it is put up.

I worked for a contractor for 2 years and here is what I would do.  Find a contractor that will bill by the hour.  i.e.  we had a 4 man crew and if the customer wanted to pay by the hour it was $45/hour.  $10/hour for 3 laborers and 15 for the foreman.  It was much more affordable for the customers, because we gave an honest days work every day.  Look for smaller outfits, they are much more reasonable.  The bigger the contractor company, the more it is going to cost (for the most part).
